I take back just about everything i said about the chicken deli (park and 28th). they are teh suck now. the service gets poorer/more careless by the day, their hot food items are more frequently featuring leftovers, and they handle food like theyre postal workers and not cooks (which is a danger to public health). Also, i cant help but feel like the cashiers have this artificial “hi, thank you for purchasing your lunch here,” attitude which is ment to cover up the “give me your f*$!#&g money and get the f$@!* out of the store allready, slow ass” attitude they really have.

I may start hearing “HOOT PANINI!” less and less frequently soon. Unfortunately theyre the cheapest place to get a hearty meal around here…

I know this isnt the perfect place but...

I have to follow up with Jeremy’s mentioning of Yuengling, the best brew in the land. Yuengling Lager + Yuengling Porter is wonderful (and they come pre-mixed in Yuengling Black and Tan!). All their brews are awesome except Yuengling premium, Yuengling Lager Light, and Lord Chesterfield Ale (their attempt at competing with Rolling Rock when it was still Pennsylvanian). I grew up next to the brewery so I sorta have a fondness for it. I never knew how prevalent Yuengling was untill I was in a resteraunt in Florida which had ‘Lager as a “premium beer.” Poor fools wanted $8 a bottle (and theyre hardly in the 24 hour radius zone).

Oh, and to those not from Schuylkill County, its called “Lager,” not “Yuengling Lager.” There are no other brands, no need for specifics or differentiation!
